Startchy

Agrytech-supported startup STARTCHY and its founders Kayssar Eid and Richardos Lebbos interacted over workshops and B2B events and mentorship sessions. The startup, who has innovated a bio-coating for fruits and vegetable that extends their shelf-life, was part of the top 10 finalists of the FAC selected to pitch in front of a large audience of investors and experts.

“Getting to pitch in the FAC meant that we were not only participating in a worldwide competition, but we were also part of one of the best events to connect with people that share with us the same vision. It was a place to grow our network,” explains Richardos. “We got a lot of exposure and we met investors and impact-makers. We also learned a lot from experts about global problems related to agriculture, economy and health. We competed against startups with amazing ideas and landed a spot in the top 10, which gave us access to  many investors who were interested in our startup.”
