Communication trainer, public speaking coach and pitching specialist Rabih Elkhodr has been training and following up on the teams to craft a perfect pitch for their business. A great pitch is simply the gateway to securing funds or capital for business expansion or start up. They are also crucial for selling your brand whether in a business setting or socialising at a dinner. Here are Rabih’s quick tips to ace your pitch:
1. It’s NOT about YOU. It’s about THEM.
2. Get to the point. Fast.
3. Avoid interrupting investors while they ask you questions.
4. Make sure everything that you say, do, and show serves a purpose related to the problem you’re trying to solve; the need for that problem to be solved; and how your solution coming to life would impact as many people around the world, making it a better place for all.
