In light of launching applications for Batch II of the Agrytech Program, Berytech gathered professionals from different strategic sectors in the agri-food value chain, at Berytech Innovation Park in Mathaf, to discuss and identify technical issues encountered in their respective fields that can be solved through technology and innovation.
The focus groups were distributed over three days and were organized around five critical fields in the value chain: Olive Oil, Wine, Vegetables & Fruits, Honey, and Dairy.
As a result of these gatherings, several issues were identified in these sectors with high potentiality to be solved through technology and innovation, which will open doors for young entrepreneurs to come up with innovative solutions, all part of the objectives of the Agrytech Program.
The objective of these roundtables is also to allow future entrepreneurs to connect directly with professionals from the industry and test their products on the ground.
